Questions before you buy
Yes, genuinely free. Core is published under the GPL licence, which means you can install it, use it indefinitely, and modify it if you want to. There is no trial period, no feature expiry, and no credit card required. The catch-free model is common in the WordPress ecosystem — it is how plugins like WooCommerce and Elementor itself work. We make money when organisations that need more upgrade to PLUS.
If you choose not to renew, your installation automatically reverts to Core. All your Core-tier features continue to work without interruption — your animal listings stay live, sync continues, and nothing breaks. You simply lose access to the PLUS features until you renew. Your settings and configuration are preserved throughout
Each PLUS licence covers one WordPress installation. If you run multiple sites — for example, a main rescue site and a foster coordination site — you would need a separate licence for each. Core is unlimited and can be installed on any number of sites at no cost.
Yes. As well as the ShelterManager hosted cloud service, ShelterSync supports self-hosted ASM3 instances. You configure a custom base URL in the plugin settings and it connects to your local installation directly. Self-hosted modes are requires PLUS licence.
PLUS licence holders can raise support requests directly via the Support page on this site. We aim to respond within one business day. Core users are supported via the WordPress.org plugin support forum, which we monitor regularly but cannot guarantee response times on.
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, one of the world's leading payment processors. We never see or store your card details — they go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. Your licence key is emailed to you immediately after payment completes
We offer a 14-day refund on PLUS licences if you are not satisfied. Contact us via the Support page within 14 days of purchase and we will process a full refund. After 14 days, licences are non-refundable.
